Truepress Jet 520
The Truepress Jet520 is the worlds most successful high-speed, single-pass color inkjet printer. The Truepress Jet520 prints on rolls of inkjet paper, standard paper and uncoated paper up to 20.4" wide. Its top printing speed of 420' per minute enables fast turnarounds and efficient production of high print volumes.
The Truepress Jet520 is ideal for on-demand production of magazines, newspapers, small-lot printing, textbooks and transactional printing. With a maximum imaging resolution of 720 dpi x 720 dpi, color and black-and-white photographs are beautifully reproduced.
Adding the JD-520, an optional external drying unit developed by Screen, improves ink drying on paper types that have posed drying challenges in the past, such as inkjet matte coated paper and inkjet glossy coated paper. The JD-520 can be connected to the Truepress Jet520 in different system arrangements. Another option is the JetInspection JI-500 inspection unit. Using this system increases product reliability and contributes to more consistent production.
In addition, the Truepress Jet520 can be equipped with roll unwind, rewind and finishing equipment from major vendors.
